The 7th Annual
Porkapalooza 2008
HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL
SEPTEMBER 27th, 2008
Due to the incredibly rainy spring...we have been unable to complete all the backyard enhancements we started in March.  Compound that with the potentially higher than normal chance for rain and we think you'll understand our decision.
Please tell everyone you invited about the date change!!!
We'll see you in September!

Thank You

Team Porkapalooza

Starts @ 4-ish | Dinner @ 6-ish | Cost is $20

To all of you who have been to Porkapalooza in the past, get your RSVP in...we’ll see you on June 14th. For those of you who haven't, you must read on....

Porkapalooza is now a 7 year tradition in St. Charles. Only a select few have experienced it, now you have been directed to our website so you can reserve a spot and experience it for yourself.

What is Porkapalooza, you ask? It started as a college graduation party for Nick, but now it's so much more. Lots more!

Let's start with the main course:
We cook a 350+/- lbs pig for about 24 hours, pull all the meat off of the bone, and serve it with several different sauces that YOU put on yourself. We think our meat is so good that we don't need to camouflage the taste with sauce! Not to boast, but it's the best pork you'll ever have. Yes, better than the "BBQ" restaurants that serve you pork that was cooked the day before, or was "slow cooked" for 4 or 5 hours. We think 24 hours makes a much better tasting sandwich. Also, our pig is cooked whole - so it self-bastes - over a charcoal and hardwood fire. A real treat for the taste buds.
But wait it gets better...We also have plenty of delicious sides:

Potato Salad | Jambalya | Baked Beans | Corn on the Cob
Cole Slaw | Cucumber Salad | Green Salad | Pasta Salad
Fire Roasted Onions | Our Famous SpinDip | Desserts

We'll also have a few beers for you. In '07, we went through SEVEN KEGS! '07 was also the first year for Porkapalooza Pale Ale and it was such a huge success that we had to bring it back. Again it will be brewed by our friends at GarageBrewers.com. We'll provide the first 6 kegs, but if we run out, we’ll pass around a collection and get more! Who knows how many we'll float in '08? There's also backyard games, 2 Johnny On The Spot's and a hand washing station, lots of great folks to hang out with, and great music.

How much should all of this cost, you ask? Actually, Standard and Poor’s values it at $1014.29 per person; it's hard to pack this much of a great time into one evening, but through research, development, and engineering, we've done it. With technology and precision, we are able to bring this to you for the low price of $20 per person. Yeah, believe it! It'd cost you that much for a so-called "platter" and a beer at a BBQ restaurant, and you can't even go back for seconds, plus you have to tip!

If you don't show up, we worry for you. See you there!

P.S. We serve chicken, too.
